My first purchase of a product from Amazon proved to be a bit 'a disaster, through no fault of Amazon, I must add. The Toshiba Netbook, which I bought for a future journey in Mexico, got a serious problem that Toshiba engineers could not repair. For reasons that remain unknown to me, the Toshiba not have allowed me to connect through the wireless network adapter, but does not allow me to connect to the Internet via an Ethernet cable. After serious efforts to make it work properly, I returned to Amazon for a refund.
This was my second netbook from Toshiba. The first was a laptop, now almost three years. Worked magnificently over the past three years. For a journey, this netbook Toshiba, with 9 hours of battery life, seems the ideal companion for communicating in a foreign country. That one just passed the quality control of Toshiba. I'm sure I'll buy another one of my trips to come.
